If it’s true that a good student makes a good teacher, then Mr. Cory should be one of the best. He was my student at Butler University, and always asked the right – and necessary – questions and worked hard to improve what he did and the way he did it. I saw the results of that work when he became a professional dancer with the Dayton Ballet and in his graduate work at the University of Arizona. I was a soloist with the Ballet Russe and a principal dancer with the Joffrey Ballet besides having taught in universities and ballet companies all over the world. In my opinion, Cory will make an excellent teacher, and the dance students of the foothills of Arizona will be lucky to have him.

As a parent of a young student, I appreciate Cory’s firm but kind teaching style. He is exceedingly knowledgeable in both dance education as well as injury prevention and truly cares about his students. As a former employer I can say unequivocally that Cory possesses the dedication, patience, artistic talent, and experience needed to be an extremely effective director. My family looks forward to being a part of BC Dance!
